The project began with an eight-hour practice of inactivity. Inaction is the desire to abandon an action, while inside there is a very intense action. I understand Inaction as a phenomenon, a prerequisite for an action.

Space of inaction have shaped the mental routes that I had created outward through the walk. This is how the unarticulated experience and the chain of thoughts within the practice were reflected in the documentation of the walk. The walk itself is a reconstruction of the experience that took place inside inactivity. The action hovered in the gap between the inner and outer space.

We conducted the Collective Inaction Practice, as an opportunity to appropriate the lost right to do nothing, to be in this space between action and inaction and to accumulate our energy, to allow ourselves to take a break from everything. Inaction, in this sense, can be formulated through a rejection of usual course of things and events. We lay down a collective experience of living and discuss it after each practice.
